This debrief was presented at the last NERC Essential Reliability Services Task Force (ERSTF) meeting in Atlanta on Dec 10-11, 2014.

The presentation was made by Nick Miller of GE, a well-known power system dynamics expert. “Western Frequency Response and Transient Stability Study” looks at key points of the Western Wind and Solar Integration Study (WWSIS) Phase 3 (the study looks at high penetrations of wind and PV in WECC).
